Hear from Julia Bryan-Wilson, the author of the modular monograph Louise Nevelson’s Sculpture: Drag, Color, Join, Face (Yale, 2023), and learn all about artist Louise Nevelson. In 2022, Bryan-Wilson curated the exhibition Louise Nevelson: Persistence, an official collateral event of the 59th Venice Biennale, and authored an essay for the Carter’s exhibition catalogue for The World Outside. She teaches at Columbia University and is Curator-at-Large at the Museu de Arte de São Paulo. Following her presentation, Bryan-Wilson will participate in an audience Q&A. Seating for the talk is first come, first served.
