I would like to know if the upcoming Exhibition of Painters of the West will include George Catlin, and especially Charles Russell.

Hi–
On a recent visit I fell in love with the magnificent poster for you current exhibition (Summit of the Sierra Nevada). Museum personnel did not know if/when it might be for sale, and it isn’t listed in your store catalog online.
Whom may I pay/bribe/beg for this poster? I will wash your dishes and shine your shoes.
Please advise–

We would be happy to sell you a Print on Demand copy of the work without even asking for manual labor! You may have noticed that the original work is not particularly large. This means that the largest print I can offer is 11 x 14 inches. If you are interested in purchasing a print of this size, email me at webmaster [at] cartermuseum [dot] org, and I can get you more details. We appreciate your interest and are glad that you enjoyed the show.

I’m sorry, but unfortunately there is not a catalogue available for this show. There are a number of resources available about aspects of the Carter’s collection, but none of them would correlate specifically with what is currently on view.
