    u.l. to u.c. printed: Crater of Mud Volacano, Yellowstone Park, a \ paint pot about thirty feet in size emitting fre- \ quent bursts of steam; but since 1898 has had \ no violent eruption. In 1870 N. P. Langford \ witnessed an eruption of the Mud Volcano which \ attained a height of several hundred feet.
