It was \ one of the first outfits in the southwest to \ start breeding up the native range stock. \ To-day its cattle are considered the best \ and the ranch remains practically as \ it was in the early days. \ The ranch headquarters is two miles from \ the famous old cow-town Tascosa, Texas \ where 'Billy-the-Kid made his headquarters \ when the Texas Rangers were not around.
