l.c. [printed]: FIFTH AVENUE AND FORTIETH STREET, \ From the Top of the Forty-foot Wall of the Reservoir. \ This old City Reservoir is on the west side of Fifth Avenue, and extends two blocks, from Fortieth to Forty-second Street. Our view is looking down Fifth \ Avenue a mile. After taking the Old Guard of New York, the focus was changed but an inch or less, yet behold the results. In the foreground will be seen \ the celebrated Governor's Foot Guard from Hartford, Conn., perhaps the most uniquely dressed troops in the seven-mile line on that day. Following the Governor's Guards are Veteran Zouaves, the survivors of the Civil War. \ 139
