Description
Typed letter signed. Georgia George, “promotion lady” for The Scrimshaw Press, introduces herself and asks Dorr for recommendations for names of people who should receive review copies that are not on the list George has provided. / Frederick says that by now perhaps Dorr’s broken ribs have healed. Says the book will be there by the 15th and they will airmail a copy to her. Assures her that they will be vigilant in protecting her copyrighted material. Says he has asked Mrs. Faulkner to work on the list of book recipients with Dorr. Says they need to reach influential people in the media to help get the word out and sell the book. Reports waiting for “the wail of a newborn babe.”
