Description
Typed letter. Copy of original letter. Praises Dorr’s book Mother and Child, calling it “sublime”, saying he has never been so deeply moved by a book of photographs, and says it is “the finest book of photographs [he] has ever come across.” Expresses his wish to publish four of her photographs in their publication Photorama, but wonders if her photographs will have the same effect when published in typography on glossy paper and asks her to think about it. Also asks if she would mind giving some details about technique for their technical readers.
