u.l. printed: The Indian Church at Sandia was built several \ hundred years ago by Spanish missionaries and \ services are still held there. The pueblo occupies \ a gentle rise from the bottom lands on the west \ bank of the Rio Grande. It may easily be seen \ as the train approaches the small station of Alam- \ ada, a short distance above Albuquerque. The \ population is about 150.
