u.l. to u.r. printed on paper label: Ma-za O-ya-te, Iron Nation, head chief of the \ Ku wicha-she, Ku-ta wi-cha-sha, or Lower \ (Lowland) Brule. He held this rank as early \ as 1869-70, perhaps earlier.
