Description
Autograph letter signed. She is very excited to get to see and hold her new grandson, Christopher Ashe, son of her daughter, Win [Virginia Koons Ashe] and Win’s husband Bill Dorr describes the baby and says repeatedly how wonderful he is and that she doesn’t want to leave him. She says her husband John would think her quite foolish, but if he could see her in the nursery, he would think she was a much stronger and nicer person. She says she’s ashamed of herself at times and doesn’t want them to remember her that way. Asks them to help her to be better and says babies are the best way she knows. She says she has them [her daughters] all over again.
