l.c. [printed]: PROMINENT PALL-BEARERS AND MEMBERS \ Of Geo. G. Meade Post, No. 1, G.A.R., of Philadelphia, of which Post General Grant had long been an honored member. \ The Geo. G. Meade Post conducted Ritual Services of their dead Friend at the Tomb, and it was most solemn and affecting, many of the friends of the departed General shedding tears at their \ impressive and touching ceremonies; and to perpetuate the ritual ceremonies at the Tomb on this remarkable day, we have reproduced by pen-work, of which this photograph is a copy, the pictures \ of all the prominent members of this noted G.A.R. Post; also, with the faces of the most prominent Pall-Bearers from both sections of the Union, and a fac-similie of each gentleman's signature; also \ a text of the ceremonies as they literally occurred. For pen-work, this design is marvelous, and will cause doubt in many minds that such work could be of human hands. \ 127
