    Along right side in black ink: Place where the \ "Snake Dance" was \ held. \ The Sacred Rock \ is a natural freak \ standing 22 feet \ above top of mesa, \ around which the \ dance takes place \ The "Kisi," is \ of Cottonwood bow- \ ghs, at the foot \ of which the Snak- \ es, are put until \ the preliminary \ exhortations are \ gone through.
