Description
Autograph letter signed. Thanks Dorr for the box of preserves she sent. Says Tom is to report to Manchester on Monday, but that he feels very confident that he won’t be drafted. Reports that her mother is better and is now waiting to get priorities for a plane trip to California. Tudor is dreaming of the Red House which they hope to buy and renovate. Says the “little big house” near it would be perfect for Dorr. Want Dorr to see her most recently completed Anderson illustrations. [Letter of Jan. 16, 1945, tells of waiting to hear from Tom’s draft board and of Tudor working on illustrations for Anderson’s “The Ugly Duckling”.]
