  • Description

Autograph letter signed. Thanks Dorr for her generous gift to the family. Says she sent twenty [$ presumably] to Tom stationed at Fort Bliss and is holding Bethany’s until she returns from her trip with-Mr. Dennis, the ornithologist, somewhere off in Mexico or Central America. She sent Seth and Lisa’s share to them. Seth is making Tudor a workbench with the fine tools he has collected. She is so proud of his work. [Some female whose name starts with an E] was delighted to receive her share as she just spent her last pennies on woolen cloth for the braided rug she is making for her Hope Chest. Tudor is proud of her joy in crafts and says she loves to weave, sew, and knit and is an excellent bread baker. Tudor is working on a nativity marionette show for the next Christmas which she says will be her masterpiece.
