Join us for a free lecture and conversation with five of the contemporary artists featured in the exhibition Cowboy. Artists Yumi Roth and Emmanuel David (speaking together), Fabian Guerrero and rafa esparza (speaking together), and R. Alan Brooks will discuss their process for creating works that articulate the popular mythologies surrounding the image and concept of the cowboy. All speakers will participate in an audience Q&A.

Seating for the talk will be first come, first served. A recording of the talks will be available on the Carter’s YouTube channel a couple of weeks after the event.
