The American story is filled with diverse characters, varying perspectives, and several myths. Join Museum educators for a tour of Stephanie Syjuco’s multimedia installation and a discussion of the ways art has shaped our collective memory of the nation. Participants will also engage in activities that encourage students to reflect on the past while creating a unique view of their world. Teachers will receive classroom resources and CPE hours. Participants may join this workshop in-person at the Museum or virtually via Zoom.
