Explore over 100 years of cowboy imagery from the Library's collection. Visitors are invited to consider visual and cultural depictions of a figure synonymous with the American West and intimately tied to the history of the Museum. The Cowboy’s Legacy brings together works from the 19th century to today, featuring iconic cowboy artists such as Charles M. Russell and Frederic Remington, entertainers Broncho John and Wallace D. Coburn, along with contemporary artists Red Grooms and Richard Prince.
