June 06, 2013 Amon Carter Museum of American Art Announces New Associate Director of Development
Fort Worth, TX, June 6, 2013—The Amon Carter Museum of American Art is pleased to announce that Judy Ivey has returned to its development department in the position of associate director of development. Ivey previously worked at the Amon Carter as the database coordinator from 1999–2005.
“We are so fortunate to have Judy join our development, membership and events team,” says Carol Noel, director of development. “Her experience and expertise in all areas of fundraising, combined with her institutional history at the Amon Carter, make her the ideal associate director. As we strategically plan to build upon our impact and relevance within our community and beyond, Judy’s arrival is perfectly timed.”
Ivey holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Southwestern University. She has 24 years of experience in fundraising, grant writing, and managing annual giving programs. Ivey’s work experience includes positions at Texas Wesleyan University, AIDS Outreach Center, Fort Worth Museum of Science and History, and The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza.
The Amon Carter Museum of American Art offers outstanding exhibitions and public programs for adults and children and is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Thursday until 8 p.m. and Sunday from 12 to 5 p.m. Admission is always free.
