Fort Worth, TX, August 28, 2013—The Amon Carter Museum of American Art is pleased to announce that Margaret “Peggy” Sell has joined its nationally-recognized Education Department in the position of interpretation manager. The museum’s interpretive resources are used by visitors of all ages and abilities to explore and understand the Amon Carter’s collections and special exhibitions.

“Peggy’s expertise working with a variety of audiences makes her ideally suited to design new in-gallery and online resources to create a more meaningful experience for our walk-in visitors,” says Stacy Fuller, director of education. “We are excited to have her join our team and help us continue our mission to make American art accessible to everyone.”

Sell has a master’s degree in art history with a concentration in museum studies from the University of Denver and a bachelor’s degree in art history from Loyola College. She has seven years of experience in art education, previously holding positions at the Denver Art Museum and Baltimore Museum of Art.

The Amon Carter Museum of American Art offers outstanding exhibitions and public programs for adults and children and is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Thursday until 8 p.m. and Sunday from 12 to 5 p.m. Admission is always free.
